I haven't been sleeping,
Killed by the thought,
Of you watching the other dearingly,
Sharing your voice lovingly,
How I was in your mirror.
I guess missing is pointless,
For the link dies halfway,
How my face melted away,
How my name erased from your heart,
The months we cared,
Ended through the winter days,
Seemingly perfect,
Yet perfect is nothing without you.
I guess now I realise,
What I had disagreed,
For your words which I undermined,
With regrets now,
Not for what you have,
Nor for who you are,
But simply because,
You're you.
Killed by the thought,
Of you watching the other dearingly,
Sharing your voice lovingly,
How I was in your mirror.
I guess missing is pointless,
For the link dies halfway,
How my face melted away,
How my name erased from your heart,
The months we cared,
Ended through the winter days,
Seemingly perfect,
Yet perfect is nothing without you.
I guess now I realise,
What I had disagreed,
For your words which I undermined,
With regrets now,
Not for what you have,
Nor for who you are,
But simply because,
You're you.
